Alouettes sign Jamel Richardson

The Montreal Alouettes announced on Tuesday the signing of veteran import wide receiver Jamel Richardson.
Richardson played four seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders from 2003 through 2006, catching 113 passes for 1,471 yards and four touchdowns. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2007, with whom he spent last season. The 26-year-old is originally from Syracuse, New York.
“Jamel will add depth to our receiving corps,” said Alouettes general manager Jim Popp. “We’re confident he can be a key element in our offence this year.”
