“You always want some intensity, a little edge during practice,” Andrus said later, joking that as an assistant in the NFL he was “one of the go-to guys” to get something started amongst players if there wasn’t enough intensity in practice.

Andrus said the scuffle between the two yesterday was “just the way practice should be” and that the pair would talk later and realize it was just the product of intensity.

“We wear the same colours. We’re on the same team,” Andrus said.
