Burke set to sign with Als as defensive coordinator
Courtesy Montreal Gazette:
It hasn’t been announced yet, but all signs indicate Tim Burke will be named the Alouettes’ defensive coordinator.
Two sources have told The Gazette the signing is imminent. Burke apparently was interviewed Wednesday and impressed new Montreal head coach Marc Trestman, who has recommended his hiring to general manager Jim Popp. Once the contract is signed, the announcement will be made.
Burke couldn’t be reached for comment, while Popp and his assistant, Marcel Desjardins, refused to speak with The Gazette.
