CFL Hall of Fame set to induct Pinball and Flutie

In physical stature Mike (Pinball) Clemons and Doug Flutie were two of the smallest players to ever don the double blue uniform of the Argonauts.
However, once they stepped on the field, the two were giants.
And their huge accomplishments will be recognized with inductions into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame.
The official announcement will be made tomorrow in Hamilton, according to a report by The Canadian Press. They will be joined by former Montreal Alouette and Edmonton Eskimo running back Mike Pringle.
The 5-foot-6 Clemons and Flutie, 5-foot-9, spent just two seasons as Argo teammates, but they were two of the most memorable years in the team’s history as they captured back-to-back Grey Cups in 1996 and 1997.
Clemons is currently the team’s CEO, having moved into the front office after stepping aside as the team’s head coach following the 2007 season.
The native of Dunedin, Fla., joined the Argonauts in 1989 after a brief NFL career. Twelve years later, in the midst of a tumultuous season, he retired as a player to take over the coaching reins of a team that had won just one of its first eight games.
