Deep crop of non-imports opens doors for Lions

You can have too many Canadians on a CFL team, defying the old adage, as the Lions are about to discover.
The outfall from the Canadian college draft Wednesday could soon leave the Lions in a position of having a few too many non-imports on their training-camp roster.
B.C. had 27 non-imports prior to the draft, seven more than the allowable number of starters that can be dressed for a game, and there’s a good chance four of the seven picked Wednesday could be signed before training camp.
