The Winnipeg Blue Bombers re-signed quarterback Ryan Dinwiddie on Tuesday. Per team policy, financial terms were not disclosed.

Dinwiddie, who originally joined the Bombers as a free agent in 2006, completed 17-of-24 passes for 175 yards as the backup to Kevin Glenn last season.

He got his first CFL start in the biggest game of the year when he replaced Glenn as the starting QB for the 2007 Grey Cup in Toronto. The Boise State product completed 15-of-33 passes for 225 yards and one TD in Winnipeg’s 23-19 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

“Ryan is already familiar with our personnel and our coaching staff, so it was important for us to ensure he remain part of this organization,” said Bomber general manager Brendan Taman.
