Eddie Davis re-signs with riders

The Saskatchewan Roughriders re-signed potential free agent defensive back Eddie Davis. Financial details of the one-year plus an option contract were not released.
Davis is entering his eighth season with the Roughriders. The 14-year CFL veteran dressed in nine regular season games last season, while missing nine games with a shoulder injury. He also started in both playoff games and the Grey cup championship game. He finished the regular season with 43 defensive tackles, two quarterback sacks and an interception, while adding two interceptions in the playoffs.
