Joe McGrath and Adrian Baird met in the super heavyweight fight: McGrath, the Eskimos’ six-foot-five, 300-pound offensive lineman swapping punches with Baird, a six-foot-four, 250-pound defensive end.

Eskimos middle linebacker Agustin Barrenechea popped veteran receiver Kamau Peterson after he caught a short pass and came into Barrenechea’s territory.

Later, Peterson got hit again — taking a whack from defensive back Stanford Samuels. Peterson didn’t get up until well past the count.
