Edmonton Eskimos director of football operations and head coach Danny Maciocia announced his coaching staff for the 2008 season on Monday.

Newcomers Mike Kelly (receivers), Ronnie Vinklarek (offensive line) and Don Wnek (defensive line) will join Rick Campbell (defensive coordinator/defensive backs), Danny Kepley (linebackers), A.J. Gass (defensive assistant), Rick Worman (offensive coordinator/quarterbacks), Terry Eisler (running backs) and Noel Thorpe (special teams).

“All three have very strong track records at the pro and college level and perhaps most importantly have experience in the CFL,” said Maciocia.

Vinklarek and Wnek will officially join the Eskimos for the start of the 2008 training camp.

Kelly has close to 30 years coaching experience, including stints as the offensive coordinator with Winnipeg (1992 to 1996) and the XFL’s Orlando Rage (2001) and as an offensive assistant with the Philadelphia Eagles (2002). Kelly was also the head coach at Valdosta State University from 1997 to 1999. For the last three years, he has been a professor of sports management at Drexel University.
