Glenn cashes in

Kevin Glenn has been buried under masses of hostile humanity, been threatened with personal harm, knocked into semi-conscious states that are not Michigan and, last we saw him on a football field, was walking off the turf with a broken arm. Dude’s taken some punishment.
But if you give the 28-year-old a choice between all that potential violence and contract negotiations, well, Glenn doesn’t hesitate when asked which is worse.
“Anybody that plays is going to tell you it’s contract negotiations… as far as stress goes,” Glenn said via conference call yesterday, after agreeing to a two-year contract extension. “It’s tough to have somebody tell you you’re not worth this. It’s not personal, but it’s tough to hear somebody tell you that.”
Worse, Glenn became concerned when negotiations were stalled and the TSN website ran a story — with quotes that originally appeared in the Free Press — under the headline, “Disgruntled Glenn.” Glenn said the TSN headline misrepresented his actual quotes.
