Hunt in better shape this time around

Aaron Hunt extended his stay with the Lions through the 2009 CFL season, and he can thank a couple of NFL teams for his increased job security.
The easygoing defensive tackle didn’t stick with either of the two NFL teams for which he auditioned during his option-year window during the offseason. But the conditioning regimen he undertook to get ready for his workouts didn’t escape the Lions’ attention.
Truth is, compared to his conditioning at training camp last year with the Lions, anything would have been an improvement.
