Lions sign JoJuan Armour and A.J. Harris

The B.C. Lions signed linebacker JoJuan Armour, running back A.J. Harris and defensive lineman James Edwards on Monday.
Armour returns to the Lions after appearing in 18 games over two seasons in 2004 and 2005. Prior to the 2006 campaign Armour was traded to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats where he spent two seasons.
The former Miami of Ohio product and moved on to the Calgary Stampeders for the 2008 campaign and was released by the Stamps during training camp after an on-field incident.
Through five CFL campaigns, Armour has played in a total of 52 regular season games notching 172 defensive tackles, 27 special teams stops, eight sacks and three forced fumbles.
Harris joins the Lions after spending last season with the Edmonton Eskimos. The Northern Illinois-grad had 99 carries for 557 yards and six touchdowns over twelve regular season contests. He also added 37 receptions for 422 yards before being released by Edmonton in the offseason.
Edwards led the McMaster Marauders in sacks in 2006 and 2007 and was also selected to participate in the 2007 and 2008 East-West Bowls. He was an OUA Second-Team All-Star who has one year of CIS eligibility remaining.
