New Stamp reciever faces charges down south

The Calgary Stampders have added a trio of import receivers, including a former NFL third-round draft choice, to their training-camp roster.
But that former third-rounder, Tyrone Calico, also brings some baggage with him to Calgary in the form of a drunk-driving charge he faces in Tennessee.
The case has been sent to a grand jury after he was arrested on Feb. 20 and charged with drunk driving. He admitted drinking and refused a breathalyser test.
Calico, 27, played three seasons with the Tennessee Titans, playing 27 games and catching 42 passes.
“Tyrone has the physical skills to be a good player in our league,” said Stamps head coach/general manager John Hufnagel of the six-foot-four, 220-pound Calico. “He has speed, size and big-play potential. We realize Tyrone has a pending off-field situation, but we’re comfortable with him as a person and feel good about bringing him up here.”
The Stamps also announced the signings of Chris Jackson and Jessie Burton.
