The B.C. Lions have agreed to terms on a contract extension with star wide receiver Paris Jackson. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Paris has developed into one of the league’s premier receivers,” said Lions general manager and head coach Wally Buono. “And we have significant expectations of him this season and beyond.”
The 28-year-old has played in 98 regular season games with the team, pulling in 256 receptions for 21 touchdowns and 3,616 yards.
Last season, the Vancouver native established career highs in receptions (76), yards (1,180) and touchdowns (8).
Jackson was a first-round selection of the Lions in the 2003 CFL Canadian Draft (sixth overall) and will be playing in his seventh season with the team.
The 6’3 receiver won a Grey Cup with B.C. in 2006.
