Pickett officially declared #1 in Toronto

This isn’t exactly a surprise, but Argonauts head coach Bart Andrus has made it official: Cody Pickett is now the team’s No.1 quarterback.
After two games with more than 300 yards passing, Pickett yesterday received Andrus’ endorsement even though the team has lost both games he started after replacing Kerry Joseph.
“I feel good about where we’re at with our quarterbacks,” Andrus said. “Not only has he had two pretty good games in a row, his pass-completion percentage has gone up, his touchdown production has gone up.
“He is our starter. Kerry is our backup right now.
“When we made the change, it wasn’t a trial basis.”
If Pickett continues to improve, Andrus said Joseph might not get another start this year.
