So where does Jesse Lumsden fit in Marcel Bellefeuille’s planned Hamilton Tiger-Cat offence?

Well, just about everywhere.

Bellefeuille said this week he expects the star tailback to be directly involved in about one-third of the club’s offensive plays next season.

You might get the idea the new offensive co-ordinator is more than a little impressed with Lumsden’s break-through 2007 season.

“Typically your top tailback might carry the ball 12 to 15 times and might catch five. So they might touch it 20 times out of 60 to 65 plays,” said Bellefeuille, adding he hasn’t ruled out spelling Lumsden at tailback with another runner, possibly impressive newcomer Terry Caulley.
