Printers added to Lions practice roster

The BC Lions have offered a practice roster spot to former Lion and 2004 Most Outstanding Player winner Casey Printers, reports CKNW radio.
“Casey is coming in like anybody else that we are bringing in right now,” Lions head coach Wally Buono told CKNW Radio. “We are just bringing him in to evaluate him, to see how he could be integrated into our system. I think if anyone goes beyond that they are being premature in their process.”
Printers last saw action in the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats last season.
In the 10 games that he played with Hamilton, Printers had a 55.6 completion percentage, and threw for 1693 yards. Unfortunately, he only threw for five touchdowns, but was intercepted 10 times.
