QB’s on notice in Hamilton

It figures that it would take a Pittsburgh native to restore the stellar Steeltown defence of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
As expected the Ticats turned the responsibility for restoring the unit to seven-year Canadian Football League veteran assistant coach Denny Creehan yesterday.
Creehan, 58, spent the past four seasons as the Calgary Stampeders’ defensive co-ordinator before being fired with five games remaining last season.
He told a news conference he had four different coaching opportunities to pursue for the coming season.
“This was my No. 1 choice all along,” he said.
