Riders and Argos make trade

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have acquired offensive lineman Steve Morley from the Toronto Argonauts. In exchange, the Argos will get receiver Nathan Hoffart.
“In terms of acquiring Steve, we are understandably excited,” said Riders GM Eric Tillman. “He’s a big, versatile offensive lineman, and there’s a reason he was the first player selected in the 2003 draft, as well as spending time in the National Football League.”
“This trade will almost certainly prove to be a win-win scenario since both of these young men are capable of being multi-year starters. In Nathan’s case, he made our starting lineup last year, before tweaking his knee late in pre-season. He’s one hundred percent now, and should be a very good player for the Argos.”
