Saskatchewan Roughrider General Manager/Vice President of Football Operations Eric Tillman announced today potential free agent Matt Dominguez has re-signed with the team. Financial details of the two-year plus an option contract were not released.
Dominguez is entering his sixth season with the Roughriders. The 29-year old was leading the CFL in receiving last season with 45 catches for 761 yards and five touchdowns in ten games before a knee injury sidelined him for the season.
“Matt is a special player, a legitimate difference maker, and he has a remarkable connection with our fan base and province,” stated Tillman. “Across the Rider Nation, this signing will justifiably be viewed as tremendous news.”
