Riders sign draft picks

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are staying close to home with their current signings.
The club announced on Tuesday the signing of two non-import draft picks from this year’s CFL Canadian Draft.
Second round pick Tamon George and third round selection Nick Hutchins will join the club in time for the start of training camp in June.
George, a 6’0″ non-import defensive back played the last three seasons with the University of Regina Rams. In 2008 he started all eight games at cornerback where he recorded 18.5 tackles and broke up two passes.
Hutchins, a 6’2″ non-import offensive lineman has played the last four seasons with the University of Regina Rams. In 2008, he was named a Canada West All-Star and was a key part of the Rams’ offence which led the conference in passing yards (1809) and touchdown passes (10).
