Riders sign import RB Quentin Griffin

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed import running back Quentin Griffin to a one-year plus an option contract.
Financial details were not disclosed.
”Quentin is a very talented young man,” general manager/vice president Eric Tillman said. ”His quickness, pass catching skills and return ability are all perfectly suited for the Canadian game. And, just as importantly, Quentin is the kind of character guy we are building this franchise around.”
Griffin was a fourth round selection (108th overall) of the Denver Broncos in the 2003 NFL Draft. He went on to appear in 16 games, including five starts in his initial two seasons in the league.
