Saskatchewan Roughriders Profit $3.1M!

The Saskatchewan Roughriders reported a profit for 2009 of $3.1 Million according to the following report by CBC:

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Saturday that the CFL club made a record profit of $3.1 million in 2009.

While the announcement did not specify an exact figure for gross revenues in the season, the club said they exceeded $30 million.

The Riders have sold more merchandise than any other franchise in the CFL for quite some time now and last year was no exception.  $7.1 Million in merchandise sales, along with $10.2 Million in gate receipts keep the Green and White revenues atop the league.
Do you think the Riders can top last year? I think they have a great shot considering the Centennial season celebrations. I certianly expect to see a higher merchandise revenue number!
