The Winnipeg Blue Bombers locked-up one of the anchors of the team’s outstanding offensive line with today’s re-signing of offensive guard Matt Sheridan on a new multi-year contract.
As per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Matt Sheridan has been a big part of this team for some time now and we are glad he will continue to be for the foreseeable future,” Bombers G.M. Brendan Taman said.
“He has demonstrated his football ability time and time again since joining our football club. He has also contributed a lot to the football club off the field.”
Sheridan (6-4, 330, Manitoba ’00, DOB: May 27, 1977 in Montreal, Que.) recently completed his seventh CFL season with the Blue Bombers, the same team that selected him in the sixth round (40th overall) of the 2000 CFL College Draft.
