Stamps sign two

The Calgary Stampeders snapped up free-agent imports Nate Curry and Ben Emanuel on Tuesday.

Curry, a receiver, spent last season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and played in 18 games. He had 30 catches for 320 yards and one touchdown, as well as 378 return yards.

“Nate gives us depth at receiver and also a quality return guy who we expect to compete for a roster spot,” said Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel.
