Stegal returning in 2008

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced Thursday that Milt Stegall will be back for another season with the club.

The Canadian Football League’s all-time touchdown leader will play in his 14th season this year, amid rumours that he was contemplating retirement after the 2007 season.

Stegall has been one of the league’s most celebrated players since his arrival in Winnipeg in 1995. He broke Allen Pitts’ CFL all-time record of 117 touchdown receptions in 2005, and George Reed and Mike Pringle’s all-time record of 137 last July to finish with 144 career touchdowns.
