For those of you who don’t know me, my name Brodie Hallett. Your first order of business should be remembering my name. Why you ask? Well…because I got a lot to say and frankly you would be crazy not to listen in..Second thing…I’m a huge rider fan, so I will be spending a lot of time talking riders! When I am not talking riders I will be spending time writing about the CFL and its happenings…. So with all that said, here are the Hallett Files!

Job Well Done:

-Saskatchewan Roughriders on selling out the home playoff game in record style.

-People of Saskatchewan on showing the rest of the league how much this game means to you.

-Kerry Joseph- MOP from the West, most people figured Joe Smith would be a lock to win the whole thing and you came in there. Great Job KJ.

-KJ, DJ, O’Day, Geno, Perry, Hunt, Lloyd, Johnson and Congi for making the 2007 All Star Team, keep up the good work boys.

-Edmonton Eskimos- for missing the playoffs for a second year in a row. Danny Cantcoachya, you make me proud. I hope the Esks reward you with a big contract.

-Kevin Glenn- MOP outta the East, your play has dropped as of late, but you’re a big reason this Winnipeg squad is where it is today.

-Nick Setta- Kicker up for Rookie of the year in the East, your one of the only bright spots on a weak Ti-Cats team, too bad for the Ti-Cats, you will probably make the Jump to the NFL in the near future.

-Dominque Dorsey- this is a good story for the season. Traded by the Riders to Winnipeg after Training Camp, Bombers release him but he gets picked up shortly after by the Argos and has been a bright spot on the team since they picked him. Oh ya….. also nominated for Special Teams Player Of The Year.

Shame On You:

-Andre Preloux, for showing once again that you are an incompetent official. Good god, I pray you don’t ref any Rider Playoff Games.

-Tom Higgins, not only did you make a horrible decision in not going for the 2 Pointer in the 4th, but then for coming out and saying you didn’t feel you needed to at the time, and would do the same thing if this happened again. Sometimes you need to man up and admit your errors.

-Henry Burris, you sir are a real piece of work. The comments you made about not getting the MOP nod are terrible. You have re-assured the world that it is not about the team, its all about you Hank isn’t it. As some people have pointed out, probably the best move Shivers made was not signing you to a fat contract and letting Calgary have you.

-Sean Fleming, your comments after the game will taint your final home game. I still don’t know how you got off without a fine, but I also don’t really care, we made the playoffs AGAIN, you didn’t, AGAIN.

-People who are not with the times. This thing we are on right now, it’s called the Internet or something like that. Why would you wait in line in the cold, outside of the stadium waiting for tickets? In the time it takes to get one person’s order done, about 60-100 would be done online. The Team warned all before hand, but instead you went to the stadium and missed out. Lesson Learned: The Internet is your friend.

Random Thoughts:
-The Ottawa franchise is quite interesting, will it go through? Your guess is as good as mine. But my question with all this is now, does Winnipeg return to the West? And when they do, can all this Man Love for the Bombers stop? Why do we all want a Bombers-Riders Grey Cup? Why do people not have a hate on for the Bombers? I know I sure do. Frankly, I don’t care who we play in the Grey Cup, it doesn’t matter, whom ever it is, the Riders are going to beat them.
