Three big winners?

A CFL executive, who wished to remain anonymous, shares his take on three teams who fared the best on CFL draft day:
Calgary: A trade with Edmonton to grab Dimitri Tsoumpas (Weber State) just before taking Jesse Newman (Louisiana-Lafayette/Powell River) was huge. The first draft of new coach/GM John Hufnagel gives the Stamps a good chance to replace retired OL Jay McNeil. Acquiring John Comiskey in a draft-day deal, Edmonton coach Danny Maciocia proved he must win this year or else.
B.C.: NFL-bound RB Rolly Lumbala (Idaho) may not be as much of a risk eventually as NFL-eligible senior OL Justin Sorensen (South Carolina), but acquiring 2009 first-round pick for an ‘08 second-rounder might pay big future dividends.
