Tillman prepared for anything

Eric Tillman, the Saskatchewan Roughriders general manager, said Wednesday that he has plans in place if head coach Kent Austin were to leave the CFL team.
Doubts about the head coach’s future with the Grey Cup champions surfaced Wednesday after it was confirmed that Austin was being interviewed by Houston Nutt for the vacant offensive co-ordinator’s position with the University of Mississippi Rebels. Austin was quarterback with Ole Miss from 1981-85.
“If you’re not planning for the future before it gets here in this business, then you’re always reacting,” Tillman said Wednesday from Mississippi. “I’m always running through what-if scenarios whether it be for quarterbacks, co-ordinators or coaches.”
